【Self-introduction】

I’m Masata Imai, born on March 18, 1998 in Nagano-city, Japan. I major in management in Gunma University. I was not good at English when I was an elementary student, however I went to English conversation school at the time. So I’ve studied English since 2009. For one year since I entered my junior high school, I couldn’t understand English grammar, how to learn the words by heart and the difference be-verb and general verb. Yet, with the spring vacation as a start, I found that I was interested in English.

【Book theme】

This book is about process of that I learned English. I describe the circumstances, my feelings, for expression.

【Description of five poems】

The first poem describes a moment of the shopping when I did our study training with my high school classmates in America. The season is spring, we had a free time in Boston, we hanged about in the bustling town center.

Even though no student

Only the teacher is in class

But he is enthusiastic

A smell of coffee

A smell of smoke

Take away wallet

By the cup, I sit

Horrible noise

Like on the construction site

Quake happens again

Many people shake

Is it better not to study here?

a enthusiastic venue

Over and over practice

Our voices echo in all room

Teacher runs around

He let us earnest

It’s un-perchanced experience

They are unforgettable

But we don’t gather again

It’s five-days memory

1. Having listened to CD and read the English textbook when I was a junior high school student

I was not good at English

In home

In my room

I was keen to be good at English

I had drive to study English

In plain clothes

I could not tell the general verb from be-verb

2. Having practiced English sentences when I was a junior high school student

I was enjoying writing practice

Adrenaline is secreted

I wrote a commentary with color pens under the English sentences

I practiced one page a day, sometimes, five pages a day!

I countinued to practice it for three years

I also practiced it in a school recess, and home

3. Having prepared my interviewing examination for entering high school

I practiced it for one hour a week with a native teacher

He was a black

I was always nervous

I learning my own view of self-introduction, club activities I joined to, my favorite subjects and dreams by heart

4. A study trip in the Boston, USA

I was shopping souveniors with my friends

There are many people in the shopping plaza

Lively

There are some Japanese people

The town was stability

There are many family groups

5. Having had presentation when I was a high school student

I was nervous

Classmates were gazing at me

Classroom was very quiet

I was with a gesture

I made a smile

It was difficult to do a presentation

I could not read the manuscript well

6. Having mastered English grammar in juku lecture

In the spring

I tried to learn everything written in the textbook by heart

I was crazy for a oral reading and practicing the words in my note

7. Having lodged together when I was going to juku【This memory is new I added】

It was the English study training for five days

Our smart phones were confiscated

Many members in juku were gathered from whole of Japan

We were crazy for learning many vocabularies and idioms by heart

I yelled in the oral reading practice which I had not ever

A venue was strain

I felt gratefulness for my parents to allow me to attend this study trainig and study

I felt our best with my members

8. Having listened CD and practiced all English sentences of the vocabulary text like I was a junior high school student

I wanted a high score in TOEIC test

I practiced in the Sanmarc-cafe

This textbook was epoch-making which combines vocabularies and idioms

It was my daily task

I was enjoying practicing English sentences

I felt satisfied

9. Having read the vocabulary textbook in the train everyday

I watched vocabulary textbook for twenty minutes evey day

I was comfortable to hear sound of train

I was concentrated

Sometimes I was in full train

10. Having done many grammar questions

I concentrated it for about two monthes

I solve many questions of university entrance examinations
I felt best
I was enjoying it
I was studying in the quiet library with my friend
I was concentrated

1. I listened to CD and read aloud from the textbook on the English language when I’m not good at English in junior high school

2. I practiced English sentences, words and idioms on my notebook one page or more per day for three years in junior high school

3. I went to the Connecticut with my classmates as a study trip and we took the English class there when I was 16 yeaes old

4. I went to juku everyday to enter university and I almost master the English grammar when I was 17 years old

5. I listened CD and I practiced all English sentences of the vocabulary notebook with writing like I was a junior high school student

6. I did many questions of TOEIC when I was in the professional school

7. I read my vocabulary textbook in the train when I went to professional school

8. I did so many grammar questions for 2 months

9. I did presentation in my class, when I was a high school student

10. I prepared my interviewing examination with native teacher when I wanted to enter high school
